As some of you may already know, I have joined Nira Park’s company, Big Talk Productions as Joint MD. Please change my details in your address books, as from now on this is where you can find me. We will be issuing a press release in due course.

It’s been a great three years at Lunar Films, and many thanks to all of our partners and friends. In these changing times, we hope, that by combining forces we can build on the phenomenal track record that Nira has built at Big Talk and enjoy continued success for the years to come.

Magnolia acquires Hallam Foe for US Distribution

Magnolia Pictures and Red Envelope Entertainment have jointly acquired all North American rights to writer-director David Mackenzie’s “Hallam Foe,” starring Jamie Bell, Sophia Myles and Ciaran Hinds. A 2008 release is planned.

Mackenzie has skillfully crafted the first-ever Oedipal rom-com thriller…It’s sexy, adventurous, intimate and delightful all at once.

Hallam Foe honoured in Berlin

Hallo von Berlin!
Premiering at the 57th Berlin International Film Festival in the awe inspiring Berlinale Palast, David Mackenzie’s Hallam Foe found an extremely warm and receptive crowd.

This tremendous recption was greeted later that week with a Silver Bear and the Prize Of The Guild of German Art House Cinemas, presided over by an independent jury.

A sincere thank you to the staff and jury members of the festival who delivered a truly wonderful experience to ourselves and our guests throughout the festival.
